This website, channel606.com, is run by Channel 606 Media, Inc. ("Channel 606", "we", "us"). Channel 606 is a streaming platform for Urantia-themed content from a collective of independent creators. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, what we do with it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
You do not need an account to watch videos on Channel 606, and this website has no comments, logins or user profiles.
The only personal information we collect is what you choose to give us when you sign up for updates, using the pop-up form or the form on our join page: your first name, last name and email address. On the join page we also record that you ticked the box agreeing to receive updates and announcements from Channel 606.
How we use it
We use your details to send you news and announcements about Channel 606, such as new episodes, behind the scenes updates and the launch of memberships. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone except the service providers described below, who handle it for us.
Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. Once you unsubscribe we stop emailing you.
Who handles your information
- ActiveCampaign stores our mailing list and sends our emails. Your name and email address are stored there when you sign up. See ActiveCampaign's privacy policy.
- Cloudflare hosts this website. Like any web host, it processes technical information such as your IP address and browser type when your browser asks for a page, and may keep short-term logs for security and performance. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Videos and other websites
Our videos are played by Vimeo. When a video is loaded on a page, Vimeo may collect information about your device and viewing, and may set cookies, under its own privacy policy. We ask Vimeo not to track viewers where it lets us. See Vimeo's privacy policy.
This website links to other sites, including our Instagram and YouTube pages. Those sites have their own privacy practices and we are not responsible for them.
Cookies and storage in your browser
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies on this website. When you close or submit the sign-up pop-up, your browser remembers that for 24 hours so it does not keep appearing. That note is stored only in your browser and is not sent to us. Vimeo may set its own cookies when you play a video, as described above.
How long we keep your information
We keep your name and email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove them.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any of our emails. You can also ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. To do that, contact us through the Channel 606 Instagram or YouTube pages linked in the footer of this website.
Children
This website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
When Channel 606 launches paid memberships, we will update this policy to cover accounts and payments. Any other changes will be posted on this page with a new date at the top.
